Ohhhh GREAT NEWS!!! I finally started running again, my foot/ankle feels 100% better and I'm back to normal. Sunday I went to Memorial Park with my Love and ran the 3 mile loop. It was a little tough because I wanted to go faster, but I forced myself to stay at a 10:30 pace it was a slow easy run. On Monday I went with my running partner for a 4 slow mile run down where we live (by the Galleria), it was awesome! We kept it at a 10:30 pace which was hard because I hardly run anything over 10 with her, she helps my speed (something I'm going to start working on very soon). It felt great, but was definitley able to tell the difference pre marathon and it wasn't as easy as before. I huffed and puffed a little.
I feel like crap today and have a 4 mile run after work, good thing I'll be taking a rest day tomorrow! Friday I'll be hitting the weights for upper and core, Saturday I'll go for an easy 5 mile run and meet with friends @ Spin class later than morning... I need all the energy I can get! I'm officially training for the SD half marathon in June! I'm so excited... :)
I went to whole foods the other day and bought these new addictions... I haven't tried the Blonde Macaroons, but that's next on my list!
This tea tastes awesome and I'm in love!! :) Great for after dinner with a splash of Almond milk, or alone.
